Guard Card Training
The “Guard Card” course is the initial 8-hours of training an individual needs to take in order to become a registered security guard in the State of California.
The course is an 8-hour lecture, split into two sections; (1) the Powers to Arrest, and (2) Appropriate Use of Force.
At the end of the lecture you will take a multiple-choice test.
Once you have completed the course you will receive a certificate of completion, and your next step in the process is to get a Live Scan for a criminal background check. For your convenience, we provide Live Scan services on site, and you can add it to your appointment at the time of booking.
Lastly, you will need to submit your actual application. We recommend that you do it online for faster processing.
We can complete the entire process in a single day, and our instructors can assist you with the entire process to ensure you application goes through correctly.
